It can cover costs for older folks, low income people and those with serious health problems. Applying for it can be confusing. Greene County and Beacon Health Options can help through an Engagement Specialist. This person can help to complete the Medicaid Application. Healthy Living/Healthy Choices
Greene County Human Services and Beacon Health Options are very excited to introduce a new initiative with community providers that will incorporate the Physical Health needs and the Behavioral Health needs of our community. The program will be on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:00am. The program will include various components including (but not limited to) walking, dance, healthy meals, dental health, physical health, and mental health awareness. This program is open to any Greene County resident who is now or who has ever received mental health services. There is NO cost to the program.
